The Thorpe family lived jn the middle house ,I was good friends with one of their sons Mick. I spent a lot of time there listening to radio Luxembourg and other music channels . The shop was very handy for us I only lived up the road in Wellington road. I don't know if they were farm workers houses . The farm was on the other side of Thompson road we used to get pet food for our rabbits and so on there, as well as fruit and veg. Lewis close looks as though it was built at the same time but I cant say for sure. Anyway I spent many happy hours in the Thorpe household.
