Both Rodger Leister, (shipwright) and Capt Paul Levesley used to work at Newhaven Marina. Rodger left to join the MV SENLAC in 1973 when she came to Newhaven to run in partnership with the two French “V” Boats while I also had the privilege of working with Capt Paul Levesley who helped me run the office at RSM Marine Workshops, (Newhaven Marina ) in the late 1980's. Paul and I became good friends and I still keep in touch with him.
