The 'Eastside' area of Newhaven always held its own annual fete and carnival. Fancy dress parades were the order of the day, plus a 'Junior Carnival Queen and Attendants'.

It seems that almost every Eastsider joined in the festivities in one way or another!

Apparently both Carol and Jackie Rabet have been chosen to be the Carnival Queen's attendents. This photo infact shows the year when it was Jackie's turn (so their mother confirms).
