This month’s picture is of the Flying Fish pub in Denton. The Flying Fish in Denton near Newhaven, is thought to have once been called the Kicking Donkey. It’s current name probably comes from seaplanes using Newhaven Harbour during the First world war. The pub is also thought to have strong links with local fishermen.
