In 1975 in Rhodesia (now Zimbabwe) I was given a Parker Fountain Pen to sit my 'O' Levels (passed 7/8) and then later moved to Eastbourne in East Sussex in 1979. I found the factory where my pen created on my way to catch a Ferry out of Newhaven. Now in New Zealand I have just found that 1975 pen, cleaned out is dried ink and tested by manual refill of plastic cartridge (as done often as a teenager). Did a google search and found this page. What an enduring quality product those pens have become and plan to pass it on to my son.
