Finding family connection

I have been asked to inquire if anybody has any info on Ray Henry Novis and family as a cousin of mine understands he was a prisoner of war with his father ,Leslie Mitchell Apparently Ray was a sapper in the Royal Engineers and married a Lily Russell in 1950 Some diaries and a dvd of what he termed The Long March when they were prisoners have come to light after Uncle Leslies death and family in Australia are interested in knowing more .
