HARBOUR PHOTOS

A ferry, some freighters and two retirees.

I've been asked to supply dates for these photos, so here goes! Andy - Editor

Seen in the first photo is Stena Parisien, in Stena Sealink Line livery, so this is around 1992/94.

It's hard to date the photos of the Gladstone Star and the large Lauritzen reefer ship, but they're both typical of the ships that called in during the late 1970s and 1980s. Both companies' ships were in fact regulars, with Gladstone  Star calling in on many occasions.

It's possible to put a fairly accurate date on the final photo. The two Sealink ferries at the Railway Quay are the Caledonian  Princess and behind her the Maid Of Kent. Both were moored there while up for sale during the Winter/Spring of 1981/1982.
