George William Holder  -  born 10th June 1884  -  died 14th June 1954.

George resided at the Railway cottages at Tarring Neville which were situated behind the flint wall on the A26, the cottages were demolished when the railway line was replaced.

George worked as a Ganger, walking the Railway line from Southease to Newhaven Town, checking the tracks for any faults.
