This photo of Newhaven Boys School class 3B is dated March 1920, big classes in those days! The lads in this picture would have been born around 1910/1911.

The school is now called the Hillcrest Centre and situated in Hill Crest Road.

The only boy's name we have at the moment is Harold J. Hills (my father) the boy standing in the 3rd row far right. Harold joined the Boys School from South Road Infants School on the 1st April 1919 aged 8 and left on the 24th July 1925 age 14.
