This picture we believe to have been taken in the autumn of 1956 in the top (girls) playground. Some of names are listed below - can you help fill any of the five blank spaces or even correct our possible mistakes !

The girl first left, front row is my sister Betty Carter of Norman Road. I sent her a copy to confirm this was her. She said it was but added it is only part of a larger photo, as her friends were not in the picture. If anyone has complete photo she would be delighted to see it.

I left this school in December 1956 aged just 15. We boys could not mix with the girls at playtime.  I wish I could remember some of their names and faces. I lived in Norman Road a few doors away from both Mary and Betty Carter [no relation to me ]. Betty and Mary's brother Philip and I spent a lot of time together as friends.
