OLD DRAWINGS OF NEWHAVEN

Three drawings / etchings from what we would call notelets, are from my late Mother's papers.  These scanned copies are about three times actual size.

I would guess them to be late 19th Century, as I believe the Union Workhouse (later Downs Hospital) opened in 1835, the railway reached Newhaven in 1847, and he Congregational chapel opened in 1866

The view towards Seaford is interesting as it shows the Tidemills in full working order.
