After seeing this picture I wondered if any of the crew handling this consignment of radioactive material, were found to be 'Glowing ' in the dark as the safety / protective clothing looks very scant! ( I jest of course ). But from the picture I would imagine HSE would have a field day if this was today!!
The gent on the left is Ted Saunders,foreman on North Quay for many years.
