Judging by the coach in the foreground adjacent to the motor cars, it looks to be of post second world war design, so maybe early 1950's. Also the structure at the beach end of the breakwater which had double iron doors at one time, was probably built at the beginning of the second world war.  Either some some sort of store or perhaps pill box or similar.  I believe a chap told me when I was young, that during the second world war, barges were loaded from the breakwater with explosives etc to be transported over to the continent.
