Parked in the old Newhaven Dairies yard.

Who remembers this running around the town?

My husband drove this a couple of times when it went to fetes. I used to help run the Peacehaven "Friday group"  when I worked for social services, and used it for the children to play in as a treat in 1987-90.

I used to drive this bus in the early nineties, running playgroups, after-school clubs and summer playschemes (including the occasional fun days). She definitely was a fun bus to drive and work on. I would love to know where and what she is doing now.

I had to laugh when I saw the bus, it put a big smile on my face as remember wishing it would hurry up.  It brought lots of joy to many children - shame they don't have things like this these days....thank you to everyone that made the red bus a happy fun place for many children xxx

This bus still exists but is in a poor state. It did come to where I worked a couple of times. Its a 1962 AEC Regent V new to Eastbourne Corporation. Nice to see you are still about Donna, Not seen you for years, How's Marti?.
