Leonard White, (the Queen to King Richard) mentions this play in his recently published book as being entered in the East Sussex Drama Festival in 1935. Mr Coker was the Headmaster who introduced the older boys to drama. Once they had left school they continued to perform. They met at the Primitive Methodist Chapel, later to become the Boy's Club. Robert Embleton went on to drama school. Leonard White had a career on the stage and TV.
