Do you know the name of the girl that was Queen ?
I was delighted to find the photo of the girls in the May Queen, 1957. I was in the Shortlands May Queen group in the late fifties and still have two photos of the girls in that group. My parents and I emigrated to Australia in 1959. I would love to make contact with two of the girls who lived just down the road from us in Shortlands - Anthea and Andrea Cooke. My maiden name was Julia Holmes.
Brenda Templeman was the May Queen that day.
