Our Kathleen rescue

The local fishing vessel 'Our Kathleen' has ended up on the chalk rocks at the foot of the cliffs to the west of the breakwater some time in the late 80's. The lifeboat 'Keith Anderson' (out of shot) is preparing to tow it into deeper water once the tide rises. Helping prepare the tow line are from left to right, Coastguard Station Officer Dick Willis, off duty Lifeboat Coxswain Len Patten, Lifeboat Head Launcher Martin Hills, Lifeboat crewman (and current retiring Lifeboat Coxswain 2011) Ian Johns, Fisherman Stan Davies, Lifeboatman Rob Patten. The lifeboat's 'daughter' Y boat has run into shore with a lead line connected to the main towline from the Keith Anderson.
