Anyone know what they're going to do with the site?

When was the building first built? My mother told me that my father used to run a welcome home club after the WW2. I think it was from this building. Does anybody know anything about that?.

I have heard that the Club's Insurance Company would not pay because the fire was started by a cigarette in a 'No Smoking' building,

SO!!!! Who has paid for the demolititon? Rumour has it that Phillip Mann (Estate Agents) were interested in the site, so perhaps they paid.
