Back row right is Raymond Kennard with Keith Morley next to him. Michael Still is next to Donald Waller and I think it is Tony Stevens next to Roy Francomb front right

Raven's Ait was running well before 1971 (see photo from 1967). I know that it was refurbished, and I think later closed - was 1971 when it re-opened after refurb?

Ravens Ait ran throughout the 1960's, I watched England win the football world cup there in 1966 & was on ship's company for a while after.

I like this picture. My older brother Dave was in the Sea Cadets but probably in the early to mid sixties. Do you remember him Clive? I know he played in the football team and I might have a picture or press cutting somewhere. If I can find it I’ll post it up on the page with all the other Sea Cadet football pics. But I haven’t got a picture of him in his Sea Cadet uniform like the nice picture above (you’ve probably got a more professional and technical name for the uniform). Hopefully someone out there might have a pic of him?

I remember Michael Still, think he lived out South Heighton. We tried to mate my female pet rabbit with his male rabbit but there were no babies! Is that Don Waller who I remember as Donald? It looks like you. Think you lived over East Side. You probably don’t remember me but we were friends for a while at Meeching Junior School. I remember going to East Side beach with you a few times. I hope you’re happy and well.
