LIFEBOAT CHANGEOVER

1985. to the left is the new Arun class lifeboat 'Keith Anderson' which has arrived at Newhaven to replace the existing Waveney class 'Louis Marchesi of Round Table'. At the fuel berth is an older Watson class of slipway lifeboat probably stopping over on passage from one station to another because it doesn't look to be the 'Tynesider', which was the relief boat stored in the old boathouse.
