H.M. TRAWLER "MIKADO"

Does anyone have any information about this trawler?

There isn't much info on her, but I dug around and found a few details.

MIKADO (H823) was built in 1905 for Pickering & Haldane's Steam Fishing Co, Hull. In December 1914 the trawler was requisitioned for service with the Royal Navy as minesweeper No. FY1222. In 1919 she was returned to her former owners, who used her for the next three years. In 1922 she was sold to Canadian owners in Halifax, Nova Scotia. On 25th May 1924 the MIKADO was wrecked 15 miles west of Louisbourg, Nova Scotia. Andy-Editor
