PHOTOS FROM JOHN HENDY - 6

Meeching's regular day job

By John Hendy and Andy Gilbert

A couple more photos from John Hendy's huge collection. Meeching this time, doing her day job of towing the mud barges to sea from the dredger Testside.

The first photo shows Meeching and her barge passing Senlac and Gladstone Star in November 1980. The second photo, taken a few moments later, is a close up of the tug herself.

Such great memories of hanging around the harbour as a lad. Always loved the Star line boats - my favourite was the Brasilia Star.
