This photo has always intrigued our family. It was taken probably in 1932. My mother is in photo with her obviously newborn - my eldest sister. My parents names were Fred and Stella Ward. My father was in the Newhaven police.

We wonder why so many young mums and their children got together for this photo. It would be great if anyone had any ideas. The inscription on the photo is "J.J. Hill - Newhaven."
