Something new for us at Riverside Park

In these days where Newhaven always seems to be losing something or getting something that it doesn't want, it's refreshing to have some good news.

A new wildlife pond is being dug at Riverside Park, off Lewes Road. There are videos of the work in progress at the We Love Newhaven Pictures page on Facebook. I'm told that herons are already eyeing up the area, but wouldn't it be great it the pond were big enough to attract a mating pair of swans!
