A TRANSMANCHE FERRY ENTERING THE HARBOUR

Some amazing aerial views

By Colin Brown and Andy Gilbert

These amazing photos, taken from a drone flying high above the harbour, were recently posted on the We Love Newhaven Pictures Facebook page by Colin Brown. As not everyone 'does' Facebook, he's kindly allowed me to publish them on Our Newhaven as well.

We see one of the two 'Transmanche Twins' - I can't tell you which one - entering the harbour. It shows just how narrow the 'narrows' really are for large ships like the current two ferries and why we describe them as 'Newhaven-Max'.
