Newhaven Girls School labelled 1939 , with teachers Miss Wadeson and Miss Thompson. My Mum, Joyce Terrill (Gamage at this time), is in the middle row fourth from right. I don't know any other names. Mum thinks the school was in the upstairs part of what was Meeching Junior school until it was demolished.
The second picture is probably from 1939 also. I can only date this from the presence of my aunt, Bet Gamage, second from right on the back row when she would have been about 14.
