The original of this photo was my granddad's and shows him in the middle row, second from right. The team's names are given below the photo as: Mr Amy, Mr Renville*, J Healey, J Spinks, W Stephens, L Blann; A Stephens, S Page, W Healey, J Stephens (Captain), W Judge, J Amy; R Renville, R Healey and T Saunders. Its title includes "Winners of the Lewes Div League", and it was taken by H T Edwards of Lewes Road, Brighton.

* I suspect that "Mr Renville" in the photo is the similarly bearded "Robert Renville, First Police Sergeant at Newhaven - c1880s", posted by Vera Young.
