Dredging the harbour

When the dredger Foremost Prince was 'retired', most of Newhaven's dredging was then carried out by the smaller Testside. However the main channel was usually dredged by a series of suction dredgers from the Westminster Dredging company. The regular visitor for many years was the W D Waterway, and she is seen here working where the car ferries swung prior to departure.
