I like many others I'm sure have fond memories of this, my old parish church.  When I lived on Mount Pleasant, both myself and my brother were in the church choir as lads and can recall many Sunday school visits together with other attendances.  Unfortunately our mother Jose Young (nee Muddle) was going to a Christmas Fayre at the church hall in 2002 when she had a stroke while walking through the church grounds, so happy memories tinged with sadness, but a lovely little church.

I belonged to the choir as well, must have been in the late fifties. Hasn't it got some connection to the Battle of Hastings? I will check and let you know.
