SLEEPERS HOLE - ICE

This is all before my time, many of my older relatives have often told me about the winter of 1963 etc. I've borrowed these photos from my aunt, Carol Vale, who said they belonged to Little Dave.
I've studied them carefully, I think that the first photo is taken from somewhere by the lifeboat station and Russell Simpsons, looking across the harbour towards the east quay.
The other two photos puzzed me as I didn't recognise the buildings in the background. I'm guessing that the buildings have now been demolished, and that the pictures are looking south west towards the Fort?
