Vermogen: 196 pk Snelheid: 13 kn. 22-12-1939 SS Longships vastgevaren op de Seven Stones rif, halverwege tussen Lands End en de Scilly-eilanden, terwijl de route was van Belfast naar Plymouth met stukgoed. De bemanning(27) werd gered door de reddingsboot van de St. Mary's en geland op Scilly. Het grootste deel van de lading is verloren gegaan toen het schip doormidden brak een week na het aan de grond liep.

22/12/39 Longships was wrecked on the Seven Stones Reef halfway between Lands End and the Scilly Isles [same place as the much later Torrey Canyon disaster - Andy], while en route from Belfast to Plymouth with cargo. The crew of 27 was rescued by St Mary's Lifeboat from the Scillies. Most of the cargo was lost when the ship broke in half, a week after it ran aground. - Andy, Editor.
