Sorry to say, I knew nothing about that re-union. I recognise Carol Geer and Angela Groves, but it would be interesting to have a few more names. Are there any plans for another re-union?

Although I was in the year below these people, it's wonderful to see the picture of Miss Cavadini. She taught shorthand, typing, commerce and office practice and I owe her a great deal. If it hadn't been for her patience, gentle discipline etc I would have left school virtually unemployable. I hope she sees this as I would like to say thank you to her, since school I have always found varied and interesting work.

I second that, Ann Scott. Miss Cavadini was my fav. teacher, lovely to see her in the pic. above. Because of her I got a good job as Doctors' Receptionist/relief Secretary in Seaford, then at Lewes County Library HQ, but I went back to the Doctors after six months because I missed the people/patients interaction.

I also was pleased to see Miss Cavadini in this picture, she was a good teacher and she was always collecting silver paper and milk bottle tops for guide dogs for the blind. Thanks to her I have enjoyed my working life, in a various number of office jobs now working for a loan company.

In all these photographs you miss the point in stating which years the people being reunited attended the school, it would help if these were added. There is a school roll in the East Sussex County Council Records Office that can be accessed, if that helps.

The people in these photos would have left school in 1961/1962 - no need to research.

Anyone know if I can get hold of Carole Geer. Ancestry has shown that she might be related to my fathers step brother. I was in the same class as Carol during the last couple of years at the secondary school in 1960 and 61.
