My two sons shown here, were brought up in Newhaven and both joined the army.

Craig joined when he was 16, and after training in The Black Watch he is now a Staff Sergeant in Germany with the 9th/12th Lancers.

Adam joined when he was 20 and at first he was with the 13th/18th Hussars but is now with Logistics where he has reached the rank of Sergeant. He was based at Sandhurst when both Prince Harry and William were there.

Both my sons are still in the army after 22 years of service. They have both been to Northern Ireland, Bosnia and Kosovo. More recently Adam did one tour of Iraq and Craig has been twice.

Hi Reigna

How lovely to see grown up photos of Adam and Craig and how well they have done. It does not seem that long ago that we were all playing together on Elphick Road.

I have only just seen your comment Tracy. Adam is a sergeant now posted not too far away, Sheffield. Lives in Doncaster with his wife and two children. He is a grandad now. Craig is a staff sergeant based in Germany with his wife and two kids (see page headed Odds of 5000 to 1). Yes they have both done well and I am proud of them. Neil didn't make the army, but I am just as proud of him.

Just a catch up on my two soldier boys. Craig is back in the UK , based in Bovington and now a Warrant Officer. I am not sure which grade. Adam is just finishing a stint in Afghanistan. He now has three children.
